Default Very odd battery leakage (even when phone is off)

I have bought a second hand Galaxy S2 recently (GT-I9100).

My first impression was how bad the battery life was, so I have browsed all the forum to improve it. WIFI,Synch, Brightness, ....but that didn't help.
I have run many tests of my battery life with different configuration and I ended up I leave my phone at night fully charge:
* Plane mode activated (so not trying reach phone signal)
* wifi/bluetooth/GPS off
* no apps started
* no synch
* not using it at all (even to check to time)

I still lose about 10% per hour and the GSam Battery Monitor graphs show it was actually sleeping for all night (except one odd activity at midnight and 6.00 am).

Even more surprising, the same happen when the phone is off (roughly the same consumption).

The only way to save my battery is to keep it outside of the phone (wich is extrem even for battery life saver gurus)

I first thought that was a battery issue but I have bought a new one and the same happen with both.

When I bought it it was Honeycomb I believe and it was update to ICS 4.0.4.

Is there anything I could do?
Would a factory reset help?

And by the way, I can't take it back
