Exclamation clipboard buffer recovery?

My clipboard has space for 8 entries.
I assume it's all held in a buffer or somewhere, thing is, I accidentally bumped a password off the bottom. By copyimg a 9th item to my clipboard.

My question is this.

Is the data/text from my clipboard recoverable? Or is it gone forever?
Is the data held in a folder somewhere in the bowels of my phone, or is it really just an instant disappear buffer type situation?

Desperately need this entry.

Please, can anyone help?

Welcome to the forum and sorry for the delay.

I can't guarantee this will be the same as on my s3 but I don't see why it would be different. You'll need to be rooted and use a root file explorer. You need to go to /data/clipboard. You can then open the entries in text viewer to see what they say.
