Default Asurion Replacement

Hey guys,

I recently cracked my screen and called Asurion to get a replacement which arrived the next day (got to hand it to them, it came fast and with no hassle). I bought my original skyrocket for $200 and they are charging me $200 for the replacement. I was wondering if this is the normal deductible for skyrocket phones. Thanks.

Yes it is, once they raised the insurance price to cover the iphone they raised the deductibles for high profile devices to keep fraud low.

Thanks I understand.

I'm assuming they want my cracked phone's battery returned to them as well. Correct? They sent me a brand new phone with all the stock accessories (charger, battery, headphones).

Nope they don't need the battery, just the phone. You can even keep the battery door and the charger, all they really care about is the actual phone itself.
