Exclamation Constant data transfer. Need help.

I just updated my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. I got the ice cream sandwich update using kies. After the update finished, I noticed that there is data tranfer while I am using wifi. I turned off the account and sync, but I am still seeing the little orange arrow light up next to the wifi symbol. Has anyone else ran into this problem? I have tried many things, like rebooting the phone, but nothing is working. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I'm having the same issue with my wife's phone. It's an S2 Skyrocket that I just upgraded to ICS, and since, it's been eternally syncing contacts with online phone book, even though I've turned off everthing I can think of to stop this, and it's causing perpetual data usage. Anyone else notice this? Know how to fix it?
