Bellsouth Email

I have a bellsouth email address and i am trying to set it up as imap instead of pop3. Does anyone know how to do this? As of now with Pop3 it doesnt push the email, it only comes every 5 minutes. Does imap push the email or microsoft exchange.

I have been searching everywhere. Any help would be appreicated.
