My samsung galaxy S2 has locked the screen due to wrong pattern tried multiple times. Now when I am trying with my google account, it says wrong username or password. Though the credentials are correct. Please help me, how to unlock it now?

Welcome to the forums vishnungupta.

I don't know if this will work and you will have to reload your apps but:

Power off your phone. Hold both volume buttons and the power button at the same time. When the phone vibrates, let go of the power button but keep holding both volume buttons. In a few seconds you should be in the recovery menu. Use volume buttons to move up/down and power button to select. Go to wipe data/factory reset and select it. Next, select format cache partition. Now select reboot.

Hopefully that will reset everything and you can get to your desktop again.

Seems you are just fresh out of luck - Atmazzz got the right way to get your phone back- at this point if I were you I would not be concerned with the apps but getting your phone back to a working state and I believe factory wipe is the only thing that can get you out of the doozy you are in.

I usually recommend to people not use the pattern unlock because there is the tendency to forget it. Especially if you are under the influence you can stack those wrong patterns and lock it. I personally just don't lock the phone I don't need to type that password all the time - gets irritating and especially if you are driving. I guess just a little extra info to think about.
