When I record anything in 1080p, the playback is only a black screen, I can hear all the sounds, there is just no video. I tried it with 720 and there was no problem. When I rotate the screen, you can actually see the video for a split second during the rotation, but then it goes back to the black screen.

Edit: Just tried MX Player to see if that would work, same problem.

I tried playing around with mine but can't duplicate that problem. How large is the video file? Will it work if you take maybe a 5 second video?

I don't know if it will help, but you can try going to recovery and 'wipe cache partition.'

I did try to do a few second video, still coming up black. I don't know why I didn't think to wipe the cache, I wiped the dalvik while I was at it too... Seemed to work, thanks a lot!
