Battery life shorter even though fewer apps??!!?!?!
Galaxy s2 version 4.0.4
So I got my galaxy s2 about 6 month ago. and I noticed I don't get much lifetime at all. When I first got it I let the battery drain all the way and charge all the way up. and I only charge it when it has low battery.
I always close active applications and occasionally clear the RAM. I also ALWAYS have the brightness set to the lowest. Wifi off, bluetooth off, gps off (unless needed), screen rotation off, no moving backgrounds. I'm really barely using anything that uses battery
I'm not sure why I'm only getting 6ish hours or sometimes even less.
I have noticed however, that the battery drains especially fast when im on youtube using data. but usually I'm not using it heavily.
These are the following battery stats:
cell standby 9%
android OS 6%
and then some other really low stuff.
I've recently activated the 'system power saving' option under setting but I'm not sure how much that would help.
I just really hate that the battery doesn't even last a day before it needs charging. and I don't want to keep looking for chargers. I just want it to drain over a longer period of time.
Also does the app 'juice defender' really work?
