Default Phone always stuck in landscape mode

I am using Nova Jelly Bean launcher, when screen rotation is off, my phone somehow goes to landscape mode and gets locked.

Current phone: Samsung Galaxy S2X

Carrier: T-Mobile

Retired phones: Samsung Galaxy S 4G, Samsung Vibrant, Blackberry Bold 9000, Blackberry Curve 8900, A bunch of dumb phones.

painter_ over at XDA Developers had an answer for you. "Under "look and feel" there is an option for screen orientation. you can choose from default, auto-rotate, force portrait, and force landscape." So It's in the Nova Launcher Settings.

Default Samsung Captivate (ATT) stuck in LS mode

Had the same problem two days ago and found a fix by custombill from another forum. Blasted the usb port with compressed air a couple times and problem solved. Hope this works for you. GB 2.2, phone a year and half old.
