Default Odd battery life problem

Without using my phone it will go dead in about 11 hours, at home; at work it goes dead in about 20 hours.

I have taken everything off, removed the Sim Card to stop GSM. I looked at the wakelocks and the only thing that even looks the slightest bit unusual is that Twitter has 300+ hits.

But I do have a lot of Kernel Wakelocks called "wlan_rx_wake".

My work network has much more traffic on it, but my home network has several pnp devices on it (4 u-verse set-top-boxes and two Western Digital Live set-top-boxes).

What should I look for, any chance that my pnp boxes are "banging" on my phone and causing a shorter batter life?

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this issue?

It's the wifi; read around about battery life on this site. You can test yourself by shutting down the wifi and see how long your battery lasts. After I made the recomended changes I get two days with normal usage.

I run my data sparingly since 2.3.6 update. It's about all you can do if you aren't interested in flashing back to 2.3.4. Can't root 2.3.6 yet afaik. I have Juice Defender running, and a widget on my home page which shuts off data when I want. Which is all the time. I am at home most of the time. And I don't leave wifi on constantly. I don't know how you feel about all that, but I cope with it quite well. So far. Besides, another update will be along before you know it. J/K.
