Ive had my samsung galaxy s2 for a few months now, everything has worked fine. Not rooted or anything. But the other day I dropped it prretty bad and the whole screen wase shattered, i got it repaired,whole new screen. Works great, although, when i plug it in to charge, the touch screen doesnt work at all. The power button works, the two touch buttons work, but the screen itself wont work while charging. It charges also. I have read some other threads but none helped, they said to switch chargers. Which i have, but even then the charger i have used to work before this problem (its a samsung charger). I have turned the phone off, battery out, sim card out. Also, done a factory reset & still nothing. Im out of ideas, please help!!

It sounds like when the screen was repaired that there was something that either wasn't connected properly or that it shorts out when the usb cable is inserted.

Try two things. First pluck in the usb cable to the phone, but nothing on the other end and see if it changes anything? If it's a physical short, it shouldn't matter. Next plug your phone into a charge so that the screen freezes and then call the the phone. Does it ring?
