Default confusion between rom and android version

I want to know the diffrence between neat romlit 4.0 and jb 4.1.2
What is neat rom??
What is that android version??
Pls help me ..am in a huge confusion

Custom roms all have a name given to them by the developer. Neatrom is a custom Rom. Custom roms are based on some version of android. The android version is usually listed by the developer in the first post with the list of features.

Number of s2
Actuallu whay does it connvey??
Yeah..and if I want to change my kernel..should i look out the
Baseband..??..
