Apk automatically downloaded itself through internet browser
New to android here. Just wondering out odds curiosity ...
I was looking for wallpapers through internet browser on my s3.. I found one know Google , but as soon as I went to the direct site, it redirected me to another site then proceeded to download a .apk maybe something called appa333 or something.
I didn't open it, and I've deleted it ... but my question is... the file downloaded itself. So did it also launch or install itself?
And can I check if anythin suspicious is running in the background other than task manager
I found the file wasn't actually deleted. It was in sdcard/downloads. .. called 333s111.apk
Any advice? I've got the setting ticked where u can't install files unless it's android market
