Default Set email app to push ?

I use the stock email app for a Gmail and Exchange account. It seems to me, that there is no push function in this app, is this correct ?

Settings>Google>[account]>make sure gmail is checked. That's if you're on JB. If you're on ICS its under accounts and sync or something of that nature.

I just tried it, but it only works with the Gmail app, not the stock email app that comes with the s3.

The reason for me to use the stock app, is that I want both my gmail and exchange accounts in the same app.

Just modify the instructions then. Instead of Google choose whatever account is serving your mail.
