Hi,

I have the above phone and have some questions that i need help with.
I made a backup of the phone using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33048706&postcount=1 and now have a .qcn file 234kb is size.
Im now upto this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32235061&postcount=1 and upto part 5.
I am curious to know what happens once i root on 4.1.1 and then an officail update is released which will be 4.1.2 jellybean.
How do i update?
Do i backup using kies the factory restore,apply update then root again?
I also went to sammobile as others say there is 4.1.2 already there for my phone but i could not see it.
I have see alot of custom roms around and unsure which i should try.
Once on a custom rom does one just reflash using cwm over the current rom if not happy?
Im really new to Android so please be nice.
I have searched and searched all day but just need to know these last few things.
I appreciate if anyone decides to assist me.

I rooted my phone using the sames steps.

Am happy with the standard ROM for now - rooting gives me what I needed (ie. removing bloatware).

I would hold off on getting a custom rom for now - the phone (LTE version) is still rather new - and I don't see any real incentive on getting a custom rom for now.
