Default what does this mean?

Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped.

and how do I fix??

I don't think it's a terminal thing .... just restart the app you were using at the time.

I see this message occasionally and it doesn't seem to cause any issues ...

go into settings, accounts, locate your google account, turn off Sync Internet

I used to see that on rooted devices, mainly because some app or widget too closely related to google processes had been removed by the user in an effort to clear out proprietary bloat, thus the errors.

You're not doing that, are you?

Solved: What I did was menu>settings>app mgr>all find a backup gadget that was disabled and then enabled it. Can't remember which but it's not difficult to find.
