Problem connecting to provider network
I recently bought Samsung S3 from a private store. Separately I bought micro usim card for the phone and called my network provider and they connected the sim’s barcode with my phone number.
The problem is that when I insert the new sim to my phone – the phone cannot locate any network. I tried under:
Settings > more settings > mobile networks > network operators
When I try to connect to the right network (actually, any network) I get “Unable to connect. Try later” and I can’t dial or receive any calls (I get “not connected to a network”).
At first I thought the sim was defective, however when I inserted it to a different phone it worked perfectly, and my phone did acknowledge a different sim (I was able to make a phone call.
Can someone help me or direct me? Can I solve it through any of the phone’s settings or should I go to the store I bought the device from?
