I need help the only way I know how to install music isn't working help please

The best way is to download Samsung Kies and sync all your music, alternativly you can plug your phone into a pc and navigate to My Computer\GT-I9300\Card\media then dump all your music in this location.

if you use Kies to sync your music does it store it onto the removable SD card automatically? id like to use my card for pics and music alone and let the internal memory handle everything else. also on my current phone (S1) i plugged phone to pc and moved music to a folder and now i have music on my phone's music player AND the same music on my Google Music app. not sure if its a waste of space but any idea why it did that?

I had some trouble over the weekend too... try this:

-Use the USB cable that came in the box when you bought the phone

I used my old cable thinking it's the same damn USB cable and it wouldn't transfer crap... Then I was thinking maybe they changed the cable a bit, and sure enough it worked.

Do you have anything else on the card currently? Just wondering if you have a bad card. I would unmount, remove your card and plug it straight into your computer and see if you can see it. If you can, just add your music that way. If you still can't, you may have a bad card.
