Default non OEM battery and NFC

So is the NFC nonfunctional with non OEM batteries? I just bought an extended battery and NFC appear to not be working. Is there anyway to buy a separate NFC antenna so that I can use my extended battery

Should work as long as you have the phones within 4 centimeters of each other. If it doesn't, then it's either broke or not working to spec.

The nfc is located in the battery. As far as I know, hyperion has a replacement battery with nfc included. Its not the big extended battery but you can get two with a charger off eBay for 24.95.!

Non-oem batteries typically do not have the NFC chip installed. I am also a bit leary about batteries coming from China that claim certain mA, but are less than described.

Also, if you have any metal on the back of the phone (battery replacement cover or case cover) it will block the NFC signal.
