Open gallery, open a folder, menu key on bottom of phone, tap Select item, select photos (they will have a blue box around them when selected), tap the drop menu in upper right hand corner, tap delete.

I have no delete or drop menu in the upper right hand corner. I have a boomerang sym bol for color/picassa and an email option. No delete option.

Try tapping menu key again. It's there a delete option under that menu?
