Can the stock music app be set to see the external card?
If yes, how?
BTW, the sound quality with stock flat setting sounds fanstastic with my Klipsch S4 buds 
Also, is there anyway in stock to change system level sound settings? The stock music app allows different settings, but does this make system level changes, or just for the app? Just seems to be for the app, which IMO is silly.
At the moment though, the sound is very good with whatever the default is.
