Default No permissions to open pictures taken with my S3

So this has been happening since I got the phone. I took a bunch of pictures with my S3 and when they are uploaded to Dropbox or if the phone is mounted to my PC, I can't seem to have permissions to open them.

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

I normally know m way around with permissions but after a full day of research and trial and error, nothing.

Anybody came across this or has ANY idea to fix this?

Thanks
