Default Screen time out - Need for Speed Shift...

New to S3 - HTC convert.

Having a problem with the screen shutting off based on screen timeout while I am playing game. Have not had that on any other phone.

Am I missing something obvious?

Thank you....

two solutions I see here.
1. make your screen timeout much later. This of course will reduce battery life throughout normal use.

2. There should be in w/e game your playing options. You should be able to prevent the screen from timing out within the options.

There are apps to keep your screen from timing out. The one I use is Screebl Lite. It keeps your device on using the orientation sensors, as long as it isn't laying flat, then the screen stays on. You can set your baclklight timeout to the shortest setting (15 secs.) and your screen will stay on as long as you are holding it.
