Default Don't update to the new fb app

It disables sound notification s for some odd reason and it only vibrates, you will have to re download the last version for it to work again

Have we not yet learned to expect garbage from the Facebook app?

I learned long ago never to update the fb app. I find a version that works on my current device and just stick with it.

The facebook app's sounds works fine with my S3 (I just updated), but whenever I have notifications, the light is supposed to be red. Instead it's now a combo of the blue/red light and is this weird almost purple color. ugh.

I am with you Cubz. I have heard the how horrible the FB for Android apps is supposed to be for years. I even read an article that Zuckerberg was forcing his employees to us it to understand why it is so bad and make sure the problems get fixed.

I have been using app and i update every time an update is released and i have had zero problems. It works just like the app on my ip4. I really don't see what all the fuss is about. I would like to know what the problems are they must be with things I do not use. I check it a couple of times a day, I upload pictures, send messages etc. with no problems.

I am not a power FB user by any means but it works for me. I am all for improving, so hopefully the developers will continue to fix problems and improve the app.

I use Facebook a lot throughout the day. I have 2 baby sons and I update status', photos and video of/about my son's for my family that live in Ireland, and since getting my new phone I've been putting it to good use by taking dozens of pictures of my kids every day lol so I do go on Facebook a lot to upload those photos.

I have had a few minor problems such as notifications being clicked sometimes not taking me to the comment or status, but nothing too big. I have also heard a lot of people talk about how bad it is but I don't see what bad they see in it.

Some things I would suggest to add would be the ability to upload multiple photos (this was one of the things it was missing, but they added that in the last update), the 'share' feature needs adding, make it easier to use (such as the ability to slide the menu open instead having to click the corner, it can be slid shut so why not let us slide it open?
