Default Lock screen password driving me nuts, how can i get rid and go back to swipe?!?!
sorry to hijack post but......
HELP!!!
just encrypted s3 and now i need to enter my password every time i want to unlock the screen not only when i turn on phone (which is what i thought would happen. options in settings under screen lock section are all pale grey except password thing.
Heres what i need to know, is it possible to revert to swipe screen unlock now that phone is encrypted, this is spoiling the phone as its diving me nuts every time i turn it on!!
please help!!!

Encryption would be pretty pointles sif anyone who got your phone could access all the data without a password. That's why you have to enter it every time.

From what I understand, it's a factory reset to unencrypt. There's a thread I read here this week. I'll see if I can find it.
