Default Second S3 to fail in 2 Months - Time for something else?

Got an S3 about two months ago. Turned it on. No data capability at all. Returned it and received a new one. Had it for six weeks. Started having intermittently loss of 4G. This weekend, it froze completely. Did a hard reset. Phone works, no data.

Support says they will replace the device. Should I get another S3 or should I argue to have another device? Was leaning towards the Razr Maxx before I picked the S3. Not sure I trust the S3 anymore. Complete junk.

Thanks.

Unusual for sure, but sorry to hear. I'm quite happy with my S3, however if they allow you to, and a different device will make you happy, then go for it. The brand doesn't matter in the end as long as whatever you have suits your needs.

Well it's not actually "complete junk". Many of us have had great experiences. However if you feel you don't trust it, get something else. Simple. Not sure you needed our advice on that to be honest.

Mine froze this weekend also. Out of nowhere on Saturday around 1 pm. Full reset fixed it but it was kind of strange. Other than that, this phone has been the least buggy of any I've owned.

Are you sure you didn't just lose your IMEI?
