Default LED app?

Does anyone know of a good app to mod the LED notification light?

I searched but the only suggestion I've found is Light Flow, but the reviews for the S III aren't great.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Light flow works well for the international version of the S3,but currently only version 3.0.5 works with the US version. If you can find an apk of that version, you will be good. As a side note, you must be rooted for this to work at all.

I have a US version of light flow and it works great, but it needs to be rooted for the colors to be correct. If you go to the light flow website there is a list of how to get the correct colors on unrooted phones i believe

Its a software variation where the issue lies. If you have the 9300, you have nothing to worry about.

What's wrong with Light Manager. It's working pretty well for me on my AT&T SG3.

light flow works great for the most part for all the pre-defined colors. however, when i choose custom colors, they do not seem to work.

you mentioned light flow website talkes about how to get the correct colors including custom colors? can you provide me the link please. i would like to read on it.

anyone else has luck with custom colors??

i used lightflow from day 1 of getting my phone (back in july).

for the first several weeks it did not work in terms of colors matching the actual color you assigned to each function (e.g. if you wanted sms to be blue, it would actually be a different color).

finally the developer released a patch that would allow you to select (s3 US / CAN version) on a check list in the settings. It did straighten things out (for me atleast, i have an s3 with at&t).

ONE MAJOR PROBLEM...

IT KILLS YOUR BATTERY. I was on these forums for weeks posting screen shots of my battery stats, researching any battery drain forums, even swapped out my phone through samsung, and couldn't figure out what was causing the drain.

finally... saw that the amount of wakelocks this app causes (keeping your phone awake) was around 10,000 (which is absurd). I love this app, it worked well for me, but i uninstalled it until the developer can fix this issue. My battery problem was completely solved when i get rid of lightflow.

goodluck.
