Default What is process.Google.gapps?

My replacement phone keeps freezing with a screen that says process.Google.gapps is not responding. Any ideas what is wrong?

Those would refer to Google apps (commonly known as "gapps") like Gmail, Play Store, Calender etc.
Are you rooted? Have you installed a new app? Upgraded your firmware lately?

I am not rooted. This is a "new" phone that asurion sent me. It appeared brand new in a box with all the accessories. So I replaced all the apps, etc I had on my old phone by using the market and my backup pro. Thanks for trying to help!

Sounds like you all need to wipe your phone and / or replace it.

Try this:

1.goto settings
2.application manager
3.goto all
4.scroll down to internet
5. clear data!!!! :-)
6.I would reboot the phone... this will reboot and wipe all bookmarks and favorites. save them before doing this...
