iPhone to Galaxy S3 user here, a few questions re music
I decided to break free of Apple's tyranny and traded in my trusty iPhone for a Samsung Galaxy S3. At first I was regretting the decision - found android difficult to use and Galaxy's battery life was terrible - but after a few charges battery seems much better, and getting used to android.
A few things I miss about iPhone though, wondering if there is a Galaxy S3 equivalent?
1) Earbud headphones with volume control and microphone. I mean earbuds, not earpods - i.e., the speakers do not go into your ear/audio canal, but rest in your ears unobtrusively. I got some earbuds by SkullCandy, but they have no microphone and volume control doesn't work. Everything else I see is an earpod, which I find obtrusive and uncomfortable. Are there any earbuds to fulfill my needs? Alternatively, will apple's earbuds work with the samsung?
2) One thing I miss is Siri - particularly for music. You just tell her what you want to hear, and the song effortlessly starts playing. Is there any equivalent for the galaxy - voice controlled music? I tried to use S Voice, couldn't get it remotely working well (it always plays the wrong song/artist).
