Default Ear bud replacements/alternatives for GS3?
Obviously, the ear buds that came with the GS3 work as intended. The fit is horrible but at least the volume buttons do what they are supposed to do without additional software. Has any one found any other companies that makes an ear bud that functions the same way without running additional software?

I recently purchased the Klipsch earbuds specifically made for android but the volume up/down is thru a single button. Bose? Sony? Anyone?

Give the Etymotic MC3 a look. They're what I've been looking at.

Well, it appears they are for apple only. Anybody chime in to confirm whether or not they work for Android?

Isport by monster. They are for iPhone, but they are waterproof, and for me that is a must. Ruined too many pair sweating while working out.

i had a sweet pair of Klipsch s4i but not ive realized the volume buttons do not work on my galaxy s3

So, no one makes a direct replacement for the ear buds that came with the GS3.. That's all I needed to know...

If that's what you're asking, then your answer is no. You can, however, get a great pair of headphones/earbuds that function and have the buttons and mic though.

this headset is for iphone and ipad, thus they will not work with s3. try to plug the iphone headset to your s3 and it will tells you device is not supported. the 3mm jack is different between the iphone and s3.

I really wish they were the same. Have a pair of senn px200iII and I loved using hands free for calls but I listen to music 5 hours a day at work and wish volume control worked. Only play pause middle button works. Bummer as I use these to control my mbp. Have a pair of beats with Control that don't work either.
