Default camera

There any way to make the setting for your camera so that you can just touch the screen for the photo to be taken, rather than trying to get the camera icon?
Thanks

The camera button is on the screen. Do you mean you want to be able to touch ANYWHERE on the screen? Perhaps in the preview window?

I dont know the answer but also I don't know what you're asking.

Yes, exactly. I am sorry. I want to know if there is a setting so that you can touch anywhere on the screen. Not having a side button is a real pain in the ass. LOL

Look into the S Voice settings. I'm at work right now so I cannot see how I set this up (work doesn't allow cellphones). I have my camera setup so once I open the camera all I have to do is say "capture" and it takes a picture. You can set it up to use any voice command you choose.

I'll look at my phone on break but I'm sure I set this up using S Voice.

One of the few advantages iPhone has is the ability to press the volume buttons as a shutter, its not easy using the S3 as a camera one handed.

its entirely possible though commands as such as stated above require other applicatins to perform them like the S voice
or a 3rd party camera app designed for Touch anywhere response.

Through Svoice...

Say - Open Camera (The camera will open)
Say - Capture (And it will take a shot)

I've not set mine up to do anything special.

ok, I found how I turned this on. Go into settings and then go into language and inputs. Turn on Voice cmd for Apps. Then when you have the camera open you can say several different words to take the picture.
