Question What a good video chat
something that will work with AOL IM video
is there anything like that?

I don't know of any AOL Video Chats but the best ones on android are probably Google + Hangouts (can video chat with multiple people) and google talk video calls - works with anyone on gmail or google talk. Another option is skype.

Tango seems to work pretty well too, and is cross-platform.
