Apparently you're supposed to just pick a square depending on your mood and it's supposed to automatically pick some songs for you. It's hit or miss.

What are your questions? You may need to update your library, hit the menu button and choose "library update".

i updated the music library per your suggestion. it seems to have updated 905 songs. it seems to work now even though i can't say i know what algorithm to select songs.

nevertheless, thank you for your help in this matter.
