Default Water damage screen?

Not too sure how to work this site yet so I apologize if this is in the wrong place. Yesterday my phone dropped into water for less than 2 seconds, the water damage indicators are still white. My phone was working up until late last night when the screen was tinted green and flashes on and off continuously. Ive had the phone in rice since last night, Ive taken it apart theres no corrosion or water or anything. The phone still works perfectly except for the screens color and going black (turning off) every two seconds. I dont know what to do Im starting to get frustrated because I only have 3 more days left to exchange it but if they say its because of water damage I doubt I can just exchange it. Anyone else know what I can do or has anyone else had this problem before.
