Angry Combining/merging old and new texts

My galaxy is very often doing a very weird and annoying thing, sometimes it combines a new and old text.

a new text will come through, but half way through it'll smash it together with an old text from the same contact. so I get a weird merged text and don't see the end of the new text.

it's maddening having to ask people to re-send texts all the time.

Hope this makes sense.

all the best,
Nate.

Hi mate

New poster here. I am also having this problem and its happened 3/4 times now very frustrating and confusing!

Basically it is merging the new text with a text sent previously from the contact!

Someone must have an idea?

I think I understand whats going on, but is there any way you can post a picture so its 100% clear? I know it may be tricky with the content of the texts but a picture is worth 1000 words.
