I have the GS3 phone and the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. I have Gmail for personal mail AND a different, Gmail-based account for work mail. Of course, each has a calendar, and I use those calendars from my PC, and those appointments sync seamlessly to both devices. Yay.

However, the default calendar on both the GS3 and the Note is the "My Calendar" calendar. I finally figured out why many of my appts weren't syncing between devices , as I was entering things on the fly in the S-Planner (both the calendar itself and the widget) and they defaulted to the My Calendar calendar on each device.

Now that I figured that out, I switched up the default calendar to Gmail, but I have a lot of appts in each device that I'd rather not reenter manually in the other device. Is there a way to combine those appointments that are stuck in My Calendar on each?

Samsung Kies and Microsoft Outlook. Yuk...

Funny thing is, on my Samsung S3 there is a Samsung Cloud service that will sync to a Samsung account, but that's isn't on any of my Samsung tablets. Yet???

"My Calendar" is not really designed to be sync'd. Its the local calendar that syncs with old fashioned methods for those people who still use it.

Exchange and Gmail are the calendars to sync
