Default Dead S3

Hi Guys,

My friends S3 went dead last week (did not power up at all) and had to be sent to the Service Centre, wherein they replaced the mother board.

Yesterday mine went bust, and did not power on at all and I had to return the same to the service centre today. Looks like my mother board as gone kaput.

All this for a new S3 which is hardly 5 months old.

Any of you guys have had the same issues. Please let me know.

Thanks
Shivram.K

Interesting post. At work yesterday morning and was wondering why no one was calling or texting me or why my notification light wasn't blinking. When I picked up my phone and went to wake it, it was powered off??? I tried powering on and it would not power on with the power/sleep button until I pulled the battery. Then the interesting thing is the battery level was at 53% when it is normally around 83% at this time of day with normal use. I love this phone and hope this isn't a sign of trouble to come.

Is failing motherboards a widespread issue? I'm thinking it's random since it's not being blasted all over the Internet.
