Question Blocking Mode

What happened to Blocking Mode on the S3?
The Jelly Bean update says we should have this feature, but I don't have it on my phone. Would a factory reset bring it up? Verizon. thanks

Read this thread.

Use "Blocking Mode" to save battery when you're asleep.

Just stupid that Verizon disabled the blocking mode when they updated our phone. Silly.

Does rooting the phone make Blocking Mode work for Verizon?

Blacking Mode works, it's just been removed from your setup screen. Download Quick Shortcut maker from the apps store. With this app you can create a shortcut on your home screen to access Blocking Mode.

I installed the Quick shortcut and then installed the Blocking Mode on my home screen. I then set it up to block all call all the time (just to test and it allowed all calls to go thru. My Verizon S3 is not rooted. Is there anyone who has a Verizon S3 with Blocking Mode working and if so are they rooted?

I'll have to test out the call blocking tonight. It's works for turning off the LED and sound notifications.

Did you check out blocking mode? Did it actually block calls?
