Question Galaxy sIII convert and copy??

I just upgraded my SD card. I am running windows 7 and I am copying my music files onto my galaxy using nothing but the Windows Explorer. I get a prompt saying "M4A Convert and copy?"

What the hec does that mean? Convert it to what?? These files were already on my galaxy and played just fine, I don't know how or why it is trying to convert it. Can somebody please tell me what it's doing and why?

Thanks,

What format are the source files? I record my crappy music and export as uncompressed .wav files. When I drag them to my phone I get that prompt. I'm sure it just converts them to a compressed mpeg4 or other format.

Not sure .wav is compatible, may be wanting to convert to MP3.
