Galaxy S3 (i747) Screen Edge Sensitivity.
Hi, I have had my Galaxy S3 on AT&T for about 2 months now, and have noticed on this Issue. The left edge of my screen seems to not be sensitive enough. I am wondering if the digitizer is placed a little too far to the left on this phone. I am hoping someone knows an easy fix for this without returning the phone under warranty as it is rooted so that gets a little complicated.
Here are a couple examples of when this problem is apparent:
· When on the home screen, trying to move an app to a different home screen, I can easily move it to the right one home screen by dragging the app to the right side of the screen, when trying to move it to the left one home screen I drag the app to the left edge of the screen and nothing usually happens, after fighting with it a minute I can usually get it to move to the left home screen.
· I have trouble with apps that make use of the edges of the screen either to open a side panel or in browsers, an example being Chrome where you can swipe through open tabs by swiping from the edge of the screen; I can only swipe to the right.
I have tried to search Google for this issue but a Google search for “Galaxy S3 (i747) Screen Edge Sensitivity” yielded nothing substantive but hundreds of posts with people complaining about general screen lag witch is not my problem.
I am rooted using Stock Rom 4.1.1, Kernel 3.0.31; I use Nova Launcher as my main Launcher. I have tried other rom’s, but for the most part the always seem to be missing one needed feature or another like the ability to edit contacts. So I ended up settling with stock.
