Default Text Dictionary

Hi. I'm still trying to find out how to add user defined words to the dictionary used when texting. Been easy on other phones but can't finf anything on the S3. Anybody know how??

Settings/Language and input. Tap the Gear to the right of the Samsung keyboard. Now tap on My word list. Hit the + top right and add what you want.

thanks but can get as far as tapping the gear wheel next to sansung keyboard but then there is no "my word" option to select

No.
The stock messaging app learns the words you use on FB, Twitter and on GMail, something to do with one of the Apple law suits I believe. All ok if you use them but I don't so I've set up a draft message on GMail and just keep adding to that.

I don't use any social web sites either. So if I just create draft messages in g mail texxt will learn from that? Even if they arent sent?
