I got a samsung galaxy s3 to christmas, and i love it. A few days ago when I turned on the phone there was moisture in it, and parts of the screen was purple, tha day after the whole screen was black, but the buttons and the sound works. I have tried the normal things like remove the battery and sim, and put it back, but nothing works. How can I fix it?

Welcome to the forum.

Honestly it's not looking good. If it was caused by water damage there's a good chance that something has been fried. Your best bet would be to see if Samsung or your service provider can fix it.

you could try putting it in a bag of silica gel or a bag of rice and leave it for a couple of days it should take the moisture out. Otherwise like shotgun said try and get it repaired by samsung.
