Default Isn't this a waste of memory?

I payed a game. After a little while, it was in the running applications list. If I only used that game onlyyy for that time, isn't keeping it running on the back ground wasting memory & processor? (not in the task manager's list where we can end apps. this was in the Application manager's list ). It's a game

That's exactly what memory is for so no, it's not a waste. It's like saying "isn't me drinking this Orange juice a waste of Orange juice?"

If android needs that memory, it will reclaim it back.

There's little point worrying about memory. Just let it do what it wants to do. Theres a good article about RAM in my signature that you should read uf you want a better understanding of it.

Exactly. Android is Linux, and in Linux systems that saying holds true. IF Android needs more memory it will reclaim it from apps that haven't been used for a while.

As said above, anyway, some custom rom have issues. The last one I was on usually left me with only 20MB memory left on average and Android was killing app randomly: it first killed the keyboard and then the live wallpaper. It happened quite a few times, that's very annoying.
