Default How accurate are products like the S Band?

When I hopefully get my phone next Friday, I was considering picking up the S Band. Being a fitness enthusiast, I'm sure it will have many uses plus it would be good to be able to monitor everything.

One thing though I was wondering for those who have experience with these sort of products, how good are they for monitoring doing stuff stationary? For instance, would it log data when I'm using the treadmill at the gym accurately?

I'd be interested in one of these bands, but remain sceptical as to how accurate it will be.
Have you checked out the Amiigo band? It's not released yet but it claims to be able to differentiate between lots of different activities and measure them accurately.

For $130 it would want to be accurate.

It will be just as accurate as all other accessories of this kind. The all cost around the same.
