Default Whacked out sensors

I recently got a Galaxy S4 for my birthday and I've noticed and issue with the orientation sensors. Holding it either horizontally or vertically, I always need to tilt the phone a little to the left to get it to balance out. Is there a way to fix it? I have tried multiple apps that "calibrate" the accelerometer but I have found little success. Another thing I found strange about this is that my previous phone, the Samsung Focus, also had the same sensor problem and I had to hold it the same way to fix it. Is this something samsung phones do or an issue they have or am I just really unlucky in my phones?
