Default Navigation

This should be simple but I can't figure it out. I want to place an icon/shortcut on one of my screens so that when I press it it opens navigation and guides me home. I'd like one for work and other locations too. How do I do this?

OK, I figured it out ... long-press on the homescreen. apps & widgets. directions and navigation
