Question Car stereo compatible with S4

What is the best car receiver that is fully compatible so that I'm able to listen to my music collection on my S4? I recently bought a a KDC-BT555U but it doesn't recognize my device for playing music though USB or BT.

Pioneer has the app radio 3. I have the app radio 2 and I know the S4 will work with it but to access your local library you might need root and ARLiberator

If it's an option for you...rather than get a new stereo, why not use a Bluetooth adapter? Most of them suck...I know because I have tried just about all of them. However, one of them works the way it should and is a wonderful product. And it's a great hands-free phone too. I bought three now and have one in each vehicle. Read the reviews here:

I don't know about "best" but I bought a JVC KD-X50BT which cost me 84 a year ago. It works perfectly with my S4 and PlayerPro. It was easy to pair, reconnects quickly every time and displays the track names.

It doesn't have a CD drive but who uses CDs these days?
