Default Backup or edit android browser bookmarks

Looking for a way to access S4 browser bookmarks on the desktop? I think Airdroid I use to be able to but now it seems I have to signup for some account - I grow tired of how many vendors expect you to give them all your details by requiring an account....

Anyway I am simply trying to sync or access the standard browser bookmarks instead of having to type them all again. Can Kies do this from S2 to S4 just by selecting this item? Is there anyway to do this so I don't have to keep reentering from one device to another. I currently don't use Chrome although I may be persuaded if it can do this - without yet another account?

If you use Chrome with a Google account for both your desktop & mobile device browser you can access bookmarks from both on either device. When you switch phones and log in to your account the bookmarks are synced automatically.

Thanks - another reason to switch to Chrome I guess, are there any other significant advantages does it render flash video etc?

That Chrome doesn't render Flash on Android is an advantage. Most Adobe products are huge security risks, and Flash is one of the worst.

Use Chrome as a main browser and then something else those times you need Flash.

As to bookmarks, from your Android device you can easily access your desktop's "Bookmarks Bar" shortcuts, but there's also a separate area for Mobile shortcuts. It's actually very handy. And yes, if you sign in with whatever gmail account you used to set up your phone, you will not need a new account.
