Default Apple to Android music download?

Hello,
I have been a Mac user for several years and have recently converted to Android cells. I would like to download my music files from my Mac to my Galaxy S4...is there an app in which i could accomplish this?
Also, I am changing out my daughters Ipod touch 4 and need to download her music and photos to my Mac. Her music was downloaded from a friends Mac account, and no way to recover it otherwise.
Any help appreciated
Thanx

If the files aren't DRM-locked, just copy them the way you'd copy any files - drag them from the Mac to the S4. If they're DRM-protected, you can't move them to another device.

In an Android, you can put your music files wherever you want them - you don't need an app to put them in a specific place.

I use iSyncr to copy music wirelessly from my MBP to my S4.

You need to install the iSyncr agent on your Mac, install the app on your phone then set up a playlist for whatever you want copying to your phone (I have far more music than will fit on my phone). Once you have done this, launch the app on the phone and sync - that's it.

Copying manually works but it's not as easy as using iSyncr.

Step 1: Install Android File Transfer on your Mac computer (OS X 10.5 or later). This application will let you transfer files between your Mac and your Android device (Android 3.0 or later).

Step 2: Enable USB Mass Storage mode on your Android. To do so, go to Settings > More (under Wireless and network) > USB utilities > Set USB cable connection mode. Then, select “Connect storage to PC.”

Step 3: At this point, you will be prompted to “Connect your USB cable to use mass storage.” Using the USB cable that came with your Android device, connect your device to your Mac.

Step 4: Now that your devices are connected, double-click Android File Transfer on your Mac to open it.

Step 5: Using Finder on your Mac, navigate to your Android device, which will be on your desktop. Open another Finder window anywhere on your Mac — most likely your Music folder, for the purpose of this tutorial. Now, you can drag-and-drop to files from one device to the other, copy-and-paste them, or whatever else you want. You can also delete files from your Android to make room for more stuff.

I learn how to do it in this guide, you can take a look.
