Default i5700 - Multiple downloads

Hi all,
Since rooting and swapping around firmwares I have found one consistent problem which seems to only occur on the i5700 (my galaxy ace doesn't suffer from this).
When using applications which download from multiple sources (such as tubex , ********, torrent software and so on) or downloading multiple updates from the market, the handset will reboot it's self after freezing. This seems to occur on no matter what firmware I use. The only solution I could find was to turn off the multiple source downloading features of relevant applications but this can not be done on the market.
If you find your handset in a continuous loop of starting up > starting updates > rebooting the only solution is; turn off data as soon as the phone starts up then allow the downloads to fail one by one.
Just wondering if this is a general problem or if there is a solution to allow multi point downloads?

Software versions I have tried:
SGM-Froyo-Beta 3.4
SGM-Froyo-Beta 4.0
SGM-Froyo-Beta 2.1 Next Generation 5.4

Yonip Kernels
FrozenLake Kernels
HorsePower Kernel

Rather an irritating problem. Other than that I would say the handset is fairly good for the price.
Thanks in advance.
